Take Your Journaling to the Next Level

Imagine a place where you could truly be yourself, a place of solace and inspiration where your find the safety to bare the depths of your heart and soul.

A journal can be that place, and it can be more

I've kept a journal for as long as I can remember.  It was a place to pour my emotions and my thoughts, to say many things I was too afraid to say out loud to anyone else.  There were days I couldn't wait for the relief from anxiety or excitement that my journaling offered, and I'd fill page after page with whatever poured out of me.  Then in the midst of a tumultuous divorce I found myself relying on my journal more than ever, yet the words I shed to the page were all too familiar.  I had to ask:  Am I simply repeating these same behaviors that seem to have hindered me my entire life?  Am I destined to be this way forever?  Will I ever just feel better?

These questions forever changed the way I journal.

I no longer wanted to just vent onto the page or continue to be a victim.  I wanted my written words to move me forward; to relieve me in the moment and evoke the life I wanted and who I wanted to be.  I wanted my contemplations to be creative forces for my life.  So, I started neuro-journaling™.

The recursive act of authentically writing with an intended outcome -- a goal I was aiming for -- offered a new lens for the way I structured my thinking and feelings in my journal.  I began experimenting with envisioning through my writing while identifying the kinds of thoughts and beliefs that were blocking my inner energy and the person I wanted to be.  As my journaling habit deepened, so did my life.  My days started to be filled with joy and opportunities, and my energy lifted.  To better understand what was happening, I studied related areas of emotional neuroscience, spiritual awakening and Reiki, and neuro-linguistic programming.  I brought new intention to my work and settled in to processes and prompts that brought my journaling to a new level.  I believe this process has the potential to support you too.
